crap? lol i run almost all those in my 1/8 scale conversions, and they have just as much punch as the "name brand" most of the time there the same cells, smc/maxamps and such are way overpriced imo, when you can get the same punch out of half the cost, why not?

Zippy's have good punch IMO, but they're reliability isn't as good in my experience. I've had a cell from each of my 5S packs (4900mAH Rhino, 5000mAH Flightmax) go bad on me. I've replaced the cell from the Rhino pack and it's running strong. I've kept the cell in from the Flightmax and hope it's capacity doesn't drop any lower. I have a 5S Lightning Power that has had no such problems. But it's a $280 battery. Ultimately you get what you pay for. But like I've told others, if you get a zippy, get a few replacement cells in the form of a 2S pack of the same C and mAH so you have replacement cells for when one dies in your pack (assuming you're good with a soldering iron).

i have a couple polyquests also, have driven neu batteries and so on, i see no difference, esspecially for a slash where your amps will be below 50, theres no point in trying for the best there is

On that pack with my 10.5 in my 2wd is has great punch and last's a long time. I never timed it but it's great punch over a lengthy period. It will outlast a orion 5000 but it's comparable.

+1

I run these in my Slash Spec, and a pair in my Emaxx w/Novak BL. These are the Team Trinity Lipos. Great price and good quality. I have run IP cells for years, and I like the IP Lipos just as much as I liked the NiMH.

Cant go wrong with SMC though. Solid brand. Lots of guys at my local track run those.
