A question about glow plug starters....
I recently got a HPI Nitro MT2, still sitting in my table waiting for a few accessories to arrive before I break her in. A friend of mine gave me his barely used starter http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXUM80&P=0
Was wondering if this would work on a MT2. Not sure if there are certain voltage requirements or what have you. I haven't even tried to see if the starter would fit the plug yet. It didn't really get into the specfics on the manual, it just said glow plug starter. Thanks!!!

1.2-1.5 volts is what you're looking for.
All of the igniters I've seen, the tip expands to fit over the plug and clamp into place. If the tip reaches the metal in the igniter, it completes the circuit.

Looking at it again, it's one of the push down and twist ones. So the short stick shouldn't be a problem for ya. Clamp ones like A.W. is talking about that are short are knuckle busters. You might want to look into a rechargeable one though b/c I've heard the C battery ones eat batteries and give you problems starting if they aren't brand new.
Write up how you like that mt2. I always thought those would be a fun truck.

Careful with twist-lock igniters. There have been more than a few horror stories of them loosening the plug.

I'll also definetely make some kind of write up about the truck, AWD launch ROCKS lol.
