After lots of testing..the Fury-NT body seems to be the most consistent. The Crowd Pleazer body can be very unstable, especially when jumping.

I would recommend the Orion/Picco SE, O.S. CV-R, and Sirio motors for the XXX-NT. On tracks with less than perfect traction, they will be easier to drive. I've run them all and found these engines to deliver smooth power.

serpentsixty9 - Don't put any of the aluminum stuff on your car! Not only will it add weight and will change the setup required to make the truck handle correctly, aluminum is anything but bulletproof. Crashes that will break the plastic parts, will bend your much more expensive aluminum parts.

The only aluminum upgrades I recommend are the rear hubs, and front and rear pivot blocks.

pitshop - You'll need a metric clutch nut and a different flywheel.

stu - The HPI motors are just re-badged Nova Rossi engines. It'll be good.

The best steering servo for the xxxnt IMO is the airtronics 94357. This is the servo i run and the servo drake, aaron waldron, and others use.

The olny fall back to this servo is the price of $110. But it is worth every cent.

Is anyone going to buy the ad2? I am going to see if i can change some of the parts and put them on my truck because it would be cheaper. Like the quick change tire thing and the new rear hubs.

To complete the conversion entirely is going to be nearly the price of a new kit itself. There are plenty of new parts; to call it a new kit instead of an upgraded kit wouldn't be a stretch at all.

I just received official word today: THE ADAM DRAKE EDITION 2 SHOULD BE SHIPPING AS EARLY AS NEXT WEEK.

Get ready for the next level in nitro truck racing..the XXX-NT AD2 will be hitting the shelves at a hobby store near you!

Straight from the mouth of someone who has watched this truck progress from the original XXX-NT into the killer land-rocket it has become...anyone who buys an AD2 is going to know what they've got themselves into from the minute they pull the trigger..

..and always, I'll be here 24/7 to help!

Default XXX NT?

I have a fairly new XXX NT with the Mach 15 and want alittle more power. I have been an Elec. racer my whole life and I am just now learning about Nitro. I have it tuned as good as it will get and it runs great but I want more rpm. The truck is all stock and would like to put a pipe on it. Any suggestions would be great thanks .
