Default xxx4 gearing?

i just picked up a xxx4 G+ it has the 94t spur on it, im gonna run the lrp 6.5t motor, can someone suggest a pinion to start with? or a gearing chart? thanks in advance

I believe a 15 tooth is a good starting point but don't quote me on that

I run a 19T pinion with my losi 6.5, I would start around there

A 19t or 20t should be about right. It really depends on your local track conditions, traction and driving style. At this gearing at our local track we are barely getting to 120 degrees on the motor after 10+min.

thanks guys i put a 20t on there and its a rocket with temps of 116 after 7 mins
