Default Does the MM Combo really Hate TRX?!

Im running a MM 5700 combo in my slash and im getting alot of glitching with the motor and even the steering sometimes. Reading up ive seen some people saying that its comming with this setup to get glitching from stock TRX rx tx. Anyone have any thoughts or personal experience with this?

What battery are you using with your Slash? It is an AM radio but if you have a good battery and in range it should work without glitching. As long as your receiver is getting the proper voltage it should be fine.

AM radios are more likely to glitch vs FM, FM PCM, or 2.4 systems.

im just using Orion Rocket Packs atm. and the stock Traxxas Rx and Tx. The thing is when i swap the stuff over to my stampede everything works fine. But in the slash i get some weird throttle surges and somtimes the wheels jerk to the right quickly, just enough to send my slash flipping down the pavement lol

take all your power wires aka motor wires and battery wires and twist them... take the motor wires and braid them if you can.. then just twist the power wires together.. and heat shrink em together.

also keep the power wires as far away from the rx as you can.

be sure to check for a bad bearing and rubbing metal... also id crack the trans open and check to see if you need lube on the gears..

do all these three things and drive it and let us know
