808 brushless setup
Hey All,
I am going to convert one of my 808s this year to electric for a 3rd class and have a few questions:
1) I was thinking of 7s1p A123s matched with a NEU 1509/2Y/f 1820kv motor. Does anyone have experience with a similar setup and if so, what kind of runtimes are you gettting?
2) What kind of gearing would be a good starting point?
Any constructive comments are appreciated keeping in mind this setup is to competitively race and not hit 70mph in a parking lot.
Thanks,
Kane

Thanks again for the info. I just ordered the setup you recommended in your PM. I can't wait to give it a try.
