do you have another servo you can just plug in to test? do you have a different battery, maybe 5s or 4s or even 2s you can plug in to test? i too have a spectrum capacitor plugged into the 3rd channel on the rx, but it is just for insurance

I'm picking up a capacitor tomorrow, what servo are you running? I told castle that I have the 7955tg and he told me to run 7.0.

My setup is a Neu 1512 2050 KV running on 4S geared for 33 mph, it is a rocket, runs great, no stutters, and gobs of power everywhere.

What kind of temps are you seeing? I was think of trying a 1412 1850kv on 4s. Or maybe 1412 1380kv on 6s.

have any of you guys running a MMP in a 1/8 buggy had any problems with the esc shutting off and not powering back up when you pancake a jump or land really hard. mine has done it twice now. i had the first two mounted with double sided tape....this one is mounted in velcro with a ziptie around it....kinda like a cushion hope it works because i love these esc's.

I had this happen several times with my MMM. Check to make sure your switch is out of the way and not getting switched off accidentally. I ended up cutting the switch off and no problems since.

thats the first thing i thought it was. the switch was still on....turn it off and back on and it would power up the receiver and servo, but the esc was dead...

Ahh, no bud it wont. MMP already has switching BEC. This sounds like a problem between the esc & motor. Make sure you soldered the novak correctly, check the sensor cable plug on esc, & try running in sensored only mode. It may just solve your problem. But thats all i know from past people experiences. I dont have a sensored motor for my MMP YET....
