Unhappy transmitter problems

MY transmitter is a 27mhz 2-channel ko propo ex-5 system and my reciever is a ko propo kr202a mini reciever.

I am not sure why this is happening but everyone and then my transmitter is reversing and to go forwards I have to push the trigger on my transmitter the way which is normally reverse. THis happens randomly when i drive and I don't know why!!

Any help?

Is that an ex-5 from the 80's? Could be that the crystal is going bad on you...or, just dirt and dust shorting out the internals.
