i would use 35w oil on the front and rear shocks with the stock pistons so you can get more grip aroud the corners .

i run that and its planted .

dam 10k in the front diff thats heavy man !

14-18t would be a range you could try. gear to temp,if it gets warm/hot then gear accordingly.

well i raced today and tested out" 7k" in the center its ok but i like the hard torque that "10k" gives you and coming out of the turns also.

the "7k" in the center does give you a smoother feeling, from take offs and coming out of turns but it does feel kind of soft .

but it does take away the front brake feeling.

i might go back to 10k in the center not sure yet.

I think 7 front 10 center 5 rear is gonna be the winner for me.. I gotta change my front and I"m good.. I won my local race with 10\10\5 but is had just a touch of push on power in the corners.. most likely from the 10 up front

maybe it was just the way the track was today it was bumpy and a lot of loose soil/loomy dirt from the rain .

i checked over my truck today and notice for the 2nd time one of my rear chamber link is bent bad enough to cause a bind .

im starting to think its because im useing titanuim rear turnbuckles you know strong vs weak . i do know the camber links do flex, and i have tried to straighten them out but i dont want to mess up the metal ball cups though its annoying

when i was using the steel rear turnbuckles, the plastic camber links never got bent but than again i was running this truck as a nitro so it was lighter.

i have heard you can use the rear plastic camber links off the tamiya 1/8 truggy ?

well i tryed out the "5k in the rear again its ok, but the only thing i dont like is when i let of the throttle into a turn and than hit the gas its wants to go straight and not rotate as much .

Kind of like a point and shoot somewhat kind of driving.
I like the "7k" in the center diff though.

the track i was at today was dry and dusty and somewhat rough.

so im buying a extra gear set and try 3k in the rear.

yea i did use "10k in the center, but it tends to catch me off guard sometimes coming out of turns because it throttles out of turns quickly.

but maybe using "5k in the front like your using makes it better maybe.
im just going to try one thing at a time now and use "3k" in the rear.

whats the 5k do on a loose track ?
