Team Associated RC8Te Thread

I just got a great deal on here for an rc8t, I was wondering what is a good setup to have fun bashing and possibly racing in the near future that won't break the bank.......
Motor/esc - Senored or sensorless? what kv as well?
Servo - what speed and torque should I go with and what brand?
Tires - Indoor clay track, and possibly outdoor dirt track?
I was looking into this motor/esc, anyone have this and pros or cons to it? Thanks:

Nothing wrong with it. You can pick up the rc8tft and the electric conversion more economically then buying all the parts to make the rc8te a ft edition so they dropped it. If you are just bashing pick up the E version, the alum shocks for the durability, and should be good to go. If you are racing get the ft edition with the conversion it is much better and more adjustable to tune to yor driving style.

AE has told us that the RC8Te was not selling that well, so they took it off.

have you guys notice the motor plate that comes with the rc8t conversion kit is a pain to adjust ! espially getting the pinion to line up right .

So I bought a RCscrewz kit for my RC8Te, wich turned out to be a big mistake; since the screws are infact softer than the original ones and actually so soft that I stripped several heads during initial installation!
So now Im looking for yet an another screw kit for my RC8Te and having made some research on the subject this time, am torn between Tony's Screws screw kit and Hexscrews screw kit. Wich one should I get? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Got a Tonys for my HPI baja and it was awsome.. Came in a bag though wish it had a case... Maybe the RC8T does..

That is really ALL of the AE conversions/Te setups... one easy way around is to pull the RX box when you line up the motor... it allows you to get a bit more of a hex driver in there to work... OR you can go with a grid or elite mount IF you can find one... I run 2 Elite mounts and 2 standard mounts and I can definately say the Elites are much easier... but also come with a cost...

im using (7,10,5 )diff setup on my rc8te and was wondering if i could use used "7k in the center whould it make it roll more when i let of the throttle going into a turn ?
Because with the 10k maybe im just letting off the throttle to much but it feels like its stopping ? this is on a loamy soil thats tacky kind of dirt.
also i know i can use "3k in the rear to get my rear end to rotate more, But i tried that and dint like it what else can i change to get it to rotate more ?
just slow down more going into corners or use diffrent type of tire treads ?
