What is tour Tekin neutral width set ?
My RX8 combo is pretty much " dead " just after pulling the radio trigger of a initial 1/3 of course , then it works fine. I have set into the Hotwire 5 the neutral width to 30 and I suspect I have to reduce it in order to let the power commence sooner when pulling the trigger on its initial course.
Told that, I am thinking of reducing the neutral width to .... let's say 15 or 20.
What do you think ?
What's your neutral width set ?
Thanks

I'm running a MMM buy my neutral band is the 2nd smallest setting avaible. Just make sure the car ain't driving itself when the transmitter is in neutral.

The reccomended NW setting is dependent on which radio you use. I run a DX3r and use 10.

If your transmitter has a calibrate feature, calibrate the transmitter, then calibrate your ESC to the transmitter. I have a DX3R with neutral width set at 10 on the ESC.

Like the others have said, it depends on the radio but 1/3 trigger pull before movement is WAY too much. With my m11, I run it on 2 with no problems.
I like the car to start moving with just a very little trigger movement. If you do too, keep dropping it until you get the desired result. I really don't think there is a need for more than 10 with any radio.

I use a M11x and am running 2%, thinking of increasing it to 6% as get a delayed response when punching the throttle. Don't get this on my Orion R10.
This is a Tekin RS Zpro and 7.5 motor

5 with my previous DX5R, I expect to be around 3 with the M11X that replaces it. It really depends on the radio. Once I went too low and the car was moving from itself

Using 451 RX with Tekin RS. My two other cars with Orion R10s - 451 & 451R
I will check neutral width again. Will also be upping current limit to see if that makes a big diff. Running 75 at the mo.
I suspect it'll go for an Orion r10 tbh

the tekin limiter is a great feature, especially on slippery tracks, it almost acts like a traction control
