Not recommended unless the battery specifically states it.

Some of the manufacturers say that their batts can be charged at 2C when using a balance charger however they also say that it will greatly reduce the life of the battery.

Ask any high end lipo supplier what is a good # to charge your packs. It will be higher than the 5000=5amp rate.

I thought Danny had came to the conclusion that high charge rates were not increasing performance, which was what he thought at one time?

I suspect many looking at these threads for knowledge don't own 'high end' lipos. Perhaps not the best recommendation to be putting out there without some appropriate qualifications.

As I understand it high charge rates don't reduce charge time all that much, as the charge cycle hits the CV portion much quicker and then that stage takes longer. But I'll admit I am curious to hear what your experience has been. Even if I am a little nervous about pitting next to ya!
