4WD Off Road

What 4WD chassis are out there (Buggy, truggy, MT, etc.)?

what scale are you looking at, 1/10, 1/8, etc.

Good variety of 1/10 scale 4wd electric buggies out there. 1/8 scale electric has a lot of conversions available for the nitros, and there are a few 1/8 scale electric vehicles out there, buggy and truggy to choose from too.

Your best bet is to look around the online hobby shops to get a good feel of what's out there. Each hobby shop might not carry all the manufacturer so look around at various ones:

Tower Hobbies
Horizon
Amain
Stormer
Sheldon's
Hobby People

When you're ready to buy one, you'll find so many variety of 4wd vehicles that choosing one would be the hardest part (ok, paying for the credit card bill afterward comes in close second ).

I'm really into the 4wd buggies so let me list a few:

Associated B44
Academy SBV2
Kyosho ZX-5
Tamiya DB-01
Tamiya DF-03
Hot Bodies D4
Losi XX-4
Losi XXX-4
Tamiya TRF 501x (although the next model/revision is coming out soon)

noticed kyosho came out with yet another lazer. seems to have gone away from stick packs too. granted saddle lipos are out there, hopefully they fit. seems like a nice ride. and the shocks on it and its sister rb5 are indeed nice.
