Sure! Just make a little section that is blocked off for the other classes.

That is what I was going to say.

A few people and I are working with a track to redesign their track. I was thinking about inquiring about making it a multiconfigured track with a water pit as an option for the Slash SPEC class.

I wouldn't be opposed to a water hazard of some type in the SC class.

If your just bashing, I would go with the Slash. The Losi is more fragile.

I could take a Slash, throw it straight up in the air on my driveway, and it would land and drive away.

The Losi would break a front arm, rear hub, etc....

I'm not bashing Losi as I have both as well. The Slash is just a larger (1/8th sized) more durable vehicle.

Agreed, Slash to bash and race spec.

I have a Slash, lotsa fun. Got me back into the hobby. Plus I can bash in the puddles after it rains.

Of course the Slash isnt built for hardcore racing. The suspension and drive train are about the same as a Rustler. Upgrade the slipper to Revo spec is about all. Add progressive rate springs to Rustler shocks.

But it can take a lickin and keep on tickin. I ran mine into a LAKE, had to go get it from floating off, then ran it some more on the shore.

pic of the slash after the lake run

I will admit, the lake run cost me a spur gear. 3 bucks for the gear, 7 for the RPM gear cover so it does not happen again.

I now have way more respect for the Slash after looking at your lake run! Awesome picture.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I own both.....The Desert Truck is a XXXT with a roll cage and lights. The Slash is built very durable and has gotten a ton of people into the hobby but it will never contend with a T4 or XXXT in a real racing class.

Well, not in a racing class with other vehicles. It is quite popular in it's own SPEC class.
