Default Orion Vortex Brushless Speed Controller

Anyone got any info on the new Orion ESC's or tried them yet?

On the verge of getting my first brushless stuff, was going for Xcelorin mainly because of the more than reasonable price tag and the good programability, just seen these ESC's came out recently and was wondering how they compare.

Thanks.

Team Orion always makes quality parts so there is no reason why this esc should be any different. One of the guys at my local track has one and he hasn't had any problems with it. He did, however, have to rewire the whole thing in order to get it to fit in the Rc10B4.

from what i gatherd is the first orion esc was a ko propo. now i hear they are comming out with thier own thats not a ko. not 100% on that but i would look into it before spending 200+ on a esc. also lrp is gonna be releasing thier new esc the sxx if your gonna drop the money you might want to look into that or the sphere when that comes out cause the price should drop some and its still gonna be one of the best on the market
