Thumbs up NEU customer service!!! Two thumbs up!!!

Just wanted to give you all my experience with Neu Motors so far. Aside from being an UN-REAL motor, their customer service is second to none.

My situation.

My Neu/Tekno square can 1515/1y seemed to have spun the shaft inside the front bearing, leaving an approx .010" groove in the shaft. I decided to pull it apart to check it out, and noticed that the magnets had also come loose from the shaft. I never felt that any of this was/is Neu's fault, as some dirt in the bearing could cause it to jam up, and the friction process of cutting the groove in the shaft, could surely have gotten the rotor temp high enough to un-glue the magnets from it. Just part of the game. I also noticed that the wires bouncing around had possibly let one lead arc to the aluminum case at one time. Bearings did seem fine though which I did not expect.

Sent the motor in, explained details, and asked to please advise with what I owe. 7 days later I get a small box from Neu all covered under warranty! They replaced the entire rotor, new bearings, and soldered on new wire leads with fancy little grommets to help with the bouncing around wire issue.

This alone makes me NEVER want to buy any other brand of motor.

Thanks Neu!

Yeah I called Tekno, and they said send it straight to Neu to save time. Very cool indeed.
