Default Emaxx Slipper clutch Slipping

Hello, im new to the forum but not to rc's. I recently installed a MMM on my Emaxx. Im only running two 7 cell nimh's right now. Every time i hit the throttle the spur and slipper pads just spin. I had the spur gear tightened down all the way but it still did it. Can someone help me out on this? Could the pads be bad or something? This is a new model emaxx running a 68T spur and a 22T pinion. Thanks in advance.

About all you can do is to pull it and look at everything. If the pressure plates are glazed, use some fine sand paper to break the glaze. Add 6 more pegs so you're running all 12 (cheap hopup). I used run mine all the way tight.

Even with the 12 pegs I couldn't get mine to stop slipping. I replaced it with the RRP slipper and probs ended.

What exactly are the pegs? little bit confused. Your saying i should try to sand down the plate a little bit? ill try that. Your using an aftermarket slipper clutch for the new emaxx, am i right? thanks
