Default Pinion gear for B4

I just got my self a B4 in a trade with my friend. Its brand new in a box and at the moment I m in the process of building it. I really don't know anything about this kit. My q is what type of pinion should I use with it, and how many teeth? I ll be putting my 5.5T BL motor in it. Also if you have any advice during building, pls do so.

Thanks.

Hey,

The 5.5 will be too much for the b4, it will be un-drivable.

You would be better with a 7.5 (geared 23/81)

MiCk B. :-)

MiCk B is correct, a 5.5 brushless will be very hard to control in a 2wd off-road car.

Anyways, you can go here for a guide to gearing your brushless motor.

Thanks.
When you get to the part of putting together your shocks, buy green slim for the O-rings. Helps not to leak oil out.
