smc 4100 (idk what car u have, but mind u that some of those ~5000mah packs dont fit everything). the 4100 is 65bux, sweet batt. i'm using it at big races in fact.

onyx 230 charger. 70bux, ac/dc, lipo or nimh, pretty small package. its game over on this 1, this lil thing is great, my ice's and power supplies stay home or in pitbox for 911 duty.

It looks like you are off to a good start. And the equipment will be just fine if you want to race. Some of the Yeah racing lipos are ROAR approved, others are pending....if that matters to you.

The charger you picked is a very nice little charger for the money, it is also a ballance charger so no need to buy another expensive thing.

I got turned on to this charger from flying and it has just been great.

Good luck to you and I think you spent your money very wise.

For $100, I would highly recommend this hard-cased battery:

https://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/...idProduct=7162

It's rated for 30C, so it really is quite powerful. The one I got stays in perfect balance, gets a lot of runtime and just plain out rocks. IMO, it's equivalent if not better to the TrakPower 4900 mAh gold brick, but about $50 cheaper (at the time I got mine).

SMC 24C 5200mAh is the only way to fly.
