Default rc10gt crank question

i am new to offroad just traded my onroad car for two rc10gt"s..ok here is the question are all rc10gt's short crank..on one of these trucks it has a one peice motor mount and has a short crank os 12cvx..and on the other truck it has two seperate motor mounts and has a long crank..but it has a groove at the end for an e cliip and it is a ae 15..
