Does anyone know if XXX wheels, springs and other stuff will fit the XX ?

Yes they will fit.. the problem is the other way around. The older rims rub on the newer cars hubs.

That's opposite of my experience. When I tried to put new XXX rear wheels on my early XX ('94) they rubbed on the hubs, and the track was narrower.

I've got a XX-CR Kinwald Edition (I bought it new in 1998 or 99). I still run that buggy every now and then. I've updated the car with several XXX-CR parts. I use the VLA rear arms along with the XXX-CR rear hub carriers (vertical stud mount). I also use the XXX wheels front and rear. I have the front VLA arms, but they need to be "flipped" to use on the XX-CR because the XX shocks mount in front of the camber link. Last winter I raced this car on carpet and used the XXX sway bar kit and mounted XX-4 wing mounts to the rear shock tower to get rid of the old "wire wing" mounts. I love the XX-CR, especially for rough tracks like we used to race before "groomed clay" became so popular. Hope that info helps!!
