The cr uses the gen 1 type transmission and rear end. On the gen 2 trajnny, there is a lower center of gravity so the bottom the the diff case sits below the chassis. There is a hole there. On the gen1 there isnt one and the whole rear end is different. The MF2 has a different inner rear pivot block too which is why the rear a arms wont work. The xxxtcr chasis would the the upgrade that makes the biggest difference though. I prefer graphite over EA3.

The MF2 rear arms WILL work on the XXX-T CR. The difference is that the MF2 arms are graphite and the XXX-T CR are made from EA3 material. They are the same part coming from the same mold.............

In order to use the CR QC rear hubs you will need to change the tranny, t-plate and pivot support. The QC bones will be too long for the Gen II tranny. You can however use the CR buggy rear hubs on the MF2 to get verticle ball studs and if you can find it they made QC wheel adapters for the MF2 so you can use the QC wheels.

I just found out that my truck is really a xxxt rtr, not a mf2. Now will the xxxt cr parts work on it or not?
Thanks

Most if not all of the CR parts will work on your XXX-T RTR. The CR is more similar to the XXX-T than the MF2. The CR uses the transmission from the XXX-T and I'm pretty sure the same pivots........

Yeah the CR VLA arms will work on the RTR truck. You will want to get VLA hubs as well though. Same for the front end. The CR front arms will work but you will want to get VLA front hubs as well.

Don't use the CR buggy rear hubs. The axle heighth is different and I can't remember what that affected, maybe the roll center, but they never seemed to work right.

I personally feel the CR rack makes the steering inconsistant. The rear tower is more flexible with the EA3 but you get more camber link options if you can't get the three on the graphite tower to work for you.
