E revo dual Battery hookup question (Help!)
 
Im running two 2s 5000mah batteries on a mamba max esc. Was told I need to run them in series. I got a skimatic but had some questions as far as the positives and negatives on the deans plugs.. Is this correct? I just want to make 110% sure so I dont smoke my esc or batteries...

You are correct. I would not use the female connector. those would be the wires comming from your ESC.

I am not sure what he means by that... but a good rule to go by when wiring electrical components.... "Anything supplying power should be a female connector." Batteries should have female connectors to prevent shorts. any special harness you create should be female on the free end (side opposite of the battery connection going to the ESC) That way, when you disconnect the harness or batteries you do not have voltage sitting on exposed contacts.
