I heard it was a B4 copy, but ansmann put out some quality kits at very low prices. if B4 parts fit, it's a winner.

Looks to me a lot like an RB5 copy rather than B4.

Got the truck version ready before Kyosho while they were at it as well!

Joking aside, looks like a very competent design, much better than their 4wd buggy. If this is on the shelves for similar money to their other cars it could be a very cheap way into racing.

70% losi 20% b4 10% RB5 but it is actually quite nice and with that mix could be a winner

rear looks like AE front looks like Kyosho, middle is losi somewhere in there...
depending on quality looks like it could be good.

dang, it looks like they took ideas from everywhere.AE,losi, kyosho, and academy. If the plastics are durable could definitely be a competitor.

I don't know where you guys are seeing kyosho or losi, this looks just a b4/t4 to me.... from the chassis mold, to the mold of the gearbox, to the shape of the rear shock tower! I guess from the underside, the way the front clip comes off the chassis is similar to a losi design... but the truck body, especially the headlights, look exactly like associated.

However, I agree there's no point in re-inventing the wheel. If you're going to clone a car, AE's the way to go! Hope to see some of these on the track. Who sells these? I never even heard of Ansmann...

There are some features of this car I really like... check out the molding on the inside of the rear shock tower. There's actually three slots to fit your motor wires!! clever. I wonder if the HB wheels will fit those hexes?

Seriously, you should look at the pictures of the RB5 on the Kyosho website - http://www.kyoshoamerica.com/cars/in...part_num=30074 - before saying the car is based on something else.

With the exception of losing the vertical ballstuds and the body shape, this is a very close copy of the RB5.
