Default rpm plastics

alright my fence and my erratic driving dominated my front shock tower :P

anyway i am ready to buy both the front and rear shock towers from rpm, my question is should i just go aluminum, or will these hold up for a good while. also the rpm plastic oversized hub carriers, wut exactly do these do. is it just a better quality one, should i not bother right now (limited budget)

i have 50-60 to spend and right now this is my list

and these are for my slash. its the rpm plastic. they will fit correct?

Items You Have Selected Part # Price Qty Subtotal
Front Shock Tower for Elec. & Nitro Stampede, Elec. Rustler & Bandit 80852 USD$ 7.95
USD$ 7.95
Rear Shock Tower for the Traxxas Electric Stampede, Electric Rustler & Bandit

the following is strc aluminum

emove Product Price Qty. Amount
ST2267S: STRC Aluminum CNC Machined Upper shock caps (4 pcs) for Traxxas Vehicles (Silver)
$12.99 $12.99
ST3654-12S: STRC Stampede/Rustler/Bandit/Slash 12mm Lock-pin Style Alum. Wheel Hex (Silver)

so ya i have like 10-20 left over. my slash is bone stock. wut else is really NEEDED. and im sry for wall of text but i want to be thorough.

Dont bother with aluminum. It is tons of money and will add weight. Go with RPM. It is super strong and not anywhere close to the price of aluminum products. But there is also some aluminum touches you can do to your slash to make it preform better like the aluminum shock caps. Stock slash shock caps are cheap and always pop off.

RPM is the way to go. Great parts product.
I run RPM a-arms on my T4.
Their are stronger then stock a-arms for the truck.
