Default CC Sidewinder on T4 question.

Does any one use the Sidewinder Esc on a T4 Truggy?

I have one and i also have the 4600K and 5700k motors i was planning on using one of those on my T4. I've noticed that not many people use these Sidewinder or motors? Why?

Thanks in advance

I run the Mamba Max and the 4600 in my T4 and love it. There are a few more at my track.
There are a lot of people that feel sensorless is not good for racing, but the systems have come a long way and many people have not tried the new systems with the new software. they are very smooth and very powerful.

I am in no way wanting to start a sensored -VS- sensorless debate.
they are both very good.

cool

i noticed alot people using Novak system at my track. They were advising me to get a Novak but i all ready have the CC. I don't know if i want to spend $150+ when i have the CC in my part case. and it will perform the same or better.

I use the Sidewinder/4600 in my B4, and I like it very much. I have not noticed any cogging. I am getting a T4 in a few days, and I am going to use the combo in it. Any thought on gearing for the 4600 in a T4?

I have two T4's one with a Sidewinder and a 5700kV and a Mamba Max w/ a 4600kV. They're nice system and put out more power than anyone could ever use.

i was told at my LHS that 20T for the pinion is a good start with the stock spur gear. I think thats a 87T. I installed my Sidewinder with the 5700K and that thing has ALOT of power off the start it wheelies like no other. So mutch that i flipped it on its deck a couple of times. I'm going to have to play with the throttle curve. Good thing i have the caste link...
