Default which lipo?

Just wanted some input, im debating between the Team Orion Platinum Two 5000 20c 7.4v and the SMC 5200mAh 24c 7.4v, I have found both for around the same price so im just trying to decide which one to get. Il be running the battery in a brushless slash(for fun) and occasionally a brushless b4(on the track). If there is another lipo you would recommend over either of these please let me know.
Thanks, Mike.

I would personally recommend the Orion Platinum Two because of the fact that they are made with Kokam cells. These cells offer great power, runtime and they are probably the safest cells on the market right now. Not to mention they almost never get out of balance.

smc but also look at the smc 28c and 40c plus. you're gonna need all the power you can get unless thier is a c limit at your tack on slash. then get wich ever one suits your track the best. the formula for power out of a lipo is mah times c rateing. ex 5000mah x 20c = 100000 orion 5200mah x 24c= 124800 hence the smc has more punch and if thats what you are looking for then go with the smc thier batts are just as good as orion and i own 3 orions. my next batt is smc made.

if you were to ask me the best of the two id say the smc battery. tons of power and runtime. very reliable. Also look at the orion 3800 30c battery which is extremely light with tons of power packed into it.

This may answer your question...

I bought a orion 5000 2s 20c and a 3800 30c and a smc 5000 28c and a venom 5000 20c..

I sent the orion 5000 2s 20c back for the smc.. the smc lasts quite a while on my mamba max 5700 system on my xxxt.

I'd rate the 3 i have best - worst

1- smc
2- orion 3800
3-venom..

I'd get the smc battery..
