It really comes down to what category you are running. I find that in stock the higher mah packs are too heavy for stock class.

yea dont you think that 6000mh is a bit big. the smc 4900 just fits. hell the track power saddles bairly fit in cars. so i would believe 6000mah 30c would be a bit large.

Nonsense!

4600mAh is measured by a standard method under discharge. Doesn't matter what the cell chemistry is, capacity is consistent.

Now, you may find that some LiPo cells can give a longer usable runtime before the voltage drops off too much under load, but three times the runtime? Complete and utter rubbish!

It's for 10.5/19t SRS class with 15min mains. He was running 4wd mod that are 7-8 min mains at HRH. Those cells worked well for shorter mains. Last year at the classic, a few died near the end with nimh.

I run the 10.5/4wd class at SRS every week. We normally run 10 min. mains but last 2 weeks we have ran 15 min mains I have 180 sec @ 35 amps of runtime left. SMC has the best cells out right now. Now if Thunder Power would come out with a saddle pack that would be cool.

Yea i already have my hands on a version.

The IP6000 saddles are teh same as the trackpowers, large but they can crank out double the amps.

if you saw that for 80$ jump on it but harris seems like they are the only ones that have them posted and the 4200's are 110$ and no price for the 6000s so i would think they are about 130$ or so. for that price i would buy the smc and have $ left over.

The IP's so far seem like 30C stuff, im basing this off of the IP3800s 35Cs ive been using in my truck and buggy so far. Tons more power than the trakpower 25C and orion stuff I had before. I'm going to a race this weekend where I can compare. I have the 4200s and they are the size of a sub C nimh in height.
