Best servos on the market
I've been looking at a few servos for offroad 4wd and sedan mod. There seems to be many servos out there but not much racer feedback. As with any racer, we all want high numbers in torque and speed. Just curious what everyone's opinions are in servo choice.

I really like the JR 9100S, JR 9100T, and the JR 8711.

HiTec 7955 the best. Airtronics very overated and no CS.

here is the best answer... futaba, jr, hitec, ko, airtronics are the best, now buy what you're looking for and you cant go wrong.

Futaba, JR and KO. You can't go wrong with any of them. Get something around 100oz of torque and a speed around .10 and you should be good for 10th scale. I would suggest metal gears as well.
I have used the same 3-4 KO servos for years. KO 2143's is what I have. They don't make those anymore. I think they replaced them with the 2173. They are not cheap but mine have taken a beating over the years.

I say drop airtronics and you about got it. Airtronics has the worst customer service in the industry and the product is average. The JR ,Hitec,Ko Futaba maybe a toss up but the customer service from hitec outshines them all.

Anyone seen these yet:

Rated at 2S lipo with the Titanium gear train.
My only complaint with JR servos is their metal geared servos tend to develop a lot of slop over time. I run 8717's extensively in heli's and several of them have developed slop to the point where I need to replace the gear train. It's a known issue and many air and heli 87xx servo users have reported it. The aluminum gear train in these servos is very wear prone. To make matters worse the deadband on the servo is so small even the slightest wear starts to become an oscillation. I'm not sure how much of this applies to car stuff as our Air and Heli servos are connected directly to control surfaces in most cases.
Unfortunately the "fix" is the 87xx HV line's new steel geartrain...at double the price tag...
Haven't tried the Hitec 75xx stuff yet, I think they will be the next servo I try. Most of the large scale guys are starting to ditch JR due to their gear train issues. Originally Hitec servos suffered from resolution and accuracy issues, however they seem to have redesigned their electronics for the 75xx stuff.

+3 on the Futaba BLS 451. As soon as I can I will be changing all my servos to these for all my 1/10.
