hey all

im thinking about getting a tamiya db01, just wondering if anyone knows if there are must gets for the chassis and some tips for tuning it thankz

my friend has one, it's a VERY nice buggy. He's not the best driver in the world (seen worse though, at least he's smooth;)), but with an undergeared stockstar and an ebay stick pack he was keeping up with some of the 1/8th scale buggies at the track. The only thing that slowed his is he's not a very good jumper, and was on his roof rather alot. It also resisted being run over by my revo a couple of times.

I used to have a Durga. I always broke the rear uprights, so I replaced them with aluminum ones from Yeah Racing. I also recommend CVD's. I was running a Li-Po battery in mine and added a lot of lead weight to the battery side. It always helps to balance your car side to side because then it acts better in the air and easier to land the jump cleanly. If you are running a mod motor I would HIGHLY recommend the Slipper Clutch.
