The reactions to their products tend to be VERY mixed. I know I won't be buying anything from them.

I have 2 4200 SS packs and 2 6000 packs The 4200 are weighted and going from NIMH cells to these, I couldn't tell the difference, only I had way more power.

My 6000's went 30 minutes in my 8 th scale electric and I let a friend try one in his Slash, he has tried some other lipos before but after the race he said that was the fastest his truck had ever gone.

Maxamps stands behind their product and even offer an extented warranty on packs.

Buy good products, not good marketing.

I have been running a set of 2+ year old 2s 6000 packs in my 1/8th buggy and they are performing very well. They are always ballanced or very close. and have great run time.

In the past two years I have bought 5 packs from them. They have since all gone bad. The most cycles I got was from the 2s packs and they lasted about 50 cycles. My 4s and 3s packs got maybe 40 cycles. All were balanced charged on Triton 2 chargers. These were all the older packs, I have not tried any of the new high C rated packs, and with their prices the way they currently are, I probably will not be trying them.

I got great customer support from maxamps. But their new products have gone way up in price. They no longer are a good deal for Lipos. Although no complaints so far about my 5500 2S packs!

it takes you 5 packs to decide you don't like a company's products?

i am personally getting tired of seeing all the threads where, for the most part, people start and log into to whine about a company usually with irrational rants and complaints.
i have yet to see a company twist anyone's arm to buy their products.
the great thing about America is that we have choices and options, so if you don't like a company's stuff don't buy it.

Thumbs up 2s 6400mh

I have been running 2 6000 packs in my converted buggy with the Losi 2100kv motor and a Monster Maxx and have had no issues with the batteries. I have also bought the new 6400 packs and wow these do make a diff. Higher discharge rate and they realy pack a punch in my brushless E-Revo or the converted 8th scale buggy.

I run 2S 4000's in both my B44 and my XXXT CR truck (saddle and stick) and both perform phenominally. I charge and balance mine every time on a Hyperion charger and have never had an issue. Customer service is #1. I have spoke at great length with Jason on the phone and they even offer LIVE online support.

I have dealt with Maxamps for the past 3 years and will continue to give them my business. When you find something that works...stick with it.

I bought them all at the same time, and I have not bought any since.
