Hmmm, so about the weight issue and back to my problem about not having enough rear grip..... I am running a shorty inline, so I'm guessing I should really add weight to the rear of the car???

I've seen people talking about using 12mm hexs. What does that mod consist of bc I would prefer to use non durango wheels

Thanks,

Yeah you might want to add some weight to the rear. The car was designed for saddle pack nmh's. Heavy batteries. So with a very light shorty pack your gonna have to make up for that weight loss. I run just the bottom rear weight on mine but was thinking about trying out a shorty and putting on the side weights again.

I just run B4 rear hexes on mine. Doesn't require any mod other than clamping them on. The front is a different story. I just run the 14mm hexes anyway because I don't have any other vehicle that would transfer over.

That's cool. Thanks for the help. I've just seen people running 12mm hex and I just don't like to have wheel\tire orders from different places bc Jconcepts doesn't carry 14mm hex wheels

Thanks,
DC

Last night I removed my running gear and installed all the upgrade parts I had for this. I traded it to my buddy so in the Christmas spirit I figured I'd get it ready and refreshed for him to drop his gear in and go.

On dirt yes, on carpet there should be enough traction not to need it.

The only people that have a true v4 as far as I know is team guys. That being said all the v4 upgrades are available for those with v3's which could also be what you've seen. I could of had all the v4 parts if I ordered them all at once, I got most of the plastics in and recently ordered the center UJ's and will probably be ordering the dual slipper in the near future once I hear some feedback.

Hello just picked up a v3 roller and I'm looking to see if someone could assist me in a unrelated project.

What is the distance from outer edge to outer edge on the rear hub bearing width.
