Team Durango DEX410 4WD 1/10 Off-Road Buggy Thread

Really looking forward to the Universal joints! Can't wait to get rid of my CVD's

lol..It'll be interesting to see if they do something like that..building a new kit, and not having to use the manual....priceless..Looks like were evolving..DEX410V4

I noticed that there was some marks on my rear driveshafts. When I push the a arms up they hit the out drives and when i turn the wheel the driveshaft gets stuck in the groove of the outdrive. I put a plastic spacer under the rubber bushing on the shock shaft to limit the up travel. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

A good quality UJ should stay smoother for a good while longer than a CVD. They also wear a lot slower since there is no slop at all if they are made correctly by the manufacture. Some people may have other opinions or I could be totally wrong.. I am simply comparing the Durango CVD to the Schumacher K1 UJ.

Any news on a release date for the V4.

Hey guys,
Just to chime in although i'm a little late here. The V4 is the V3 with some nice refinements. The car that was ran at the Worlds was a test mule vehicle. It was wide as noticed and allowed for multiple battery and motor positions and it's purpose is figuring out future iterations. It may still be used during testing by the team here and there to help further progress the DEX410 platform. For now though as has been alluded to, the V4 is much more like the V3 and it's still great and now even better.
As an aside. I also thought my 'white' body at the Worlds was hideous!! It was an aftermarket body for the Tamiya that we found to fit and thus the team used it.
