seems two way slipper will be standard in V4,
together with front, mid, rear universal joints. (surprised that they gave up cvd for front and rear, UJ is smooth and good for center drive train, but CVD works better when big angle is involved, like steering system).
new arms - I guess just different material.
also, new front and rear gearbox? not sure what's that for, better quality control?
front and rear 1.5mm anti roll bar listed just for v4, no idea either.

I don't know if wide chassis will be there either, seeing how Neumann struggled at 2013 EFRA 4wd euro, and Lutz seems just fine in worlds final with the v3 chassis.

I posted a teaser pic a few pages back. I'm working on a wider chassis plus a +8 addition in wheelbase with a suprise, to be released at a later date......

Soon hopefully by the end of the week.....

According to tower, the kit will come with CVDs for the front and rear drive shafts, the UJs are optional. The mid driveshafts will be UJs though.

Your surprise is that because the chassis is longer and the cells in the "traditional" position for current 4wd's, you've fitted the centre differential from the Durango 4wd short course truck, the bulkhead gives it away

Good idea though, I suggested that Durango needed to do that years ago. The car has too much front-weight bias compared to other 4wd's and with the power we have now i was hoping most manufacturers realised the benefit of a 3rd diff.

Looking forward to seeing yours finished.

It was soul crushing, but I did really well for those 5 seconds.
One question, are the caps installed? just a thought.

Having just painted my body this Saturday, the rear of that body looks about the same width wise. I am using the mounting hole recess on the rear and then comparing how far off to the side the shock recesses are. Looks to me that they are significant similar.

I was all amped up for the worlds type car, but it looks as if we will be seeing a revised v3 as opposed to a totally redesigned v4. I'm not complaining as at the very least we will be getting new arms, drive shafts etc. and Ryan Lutz ran the v3 and was ridiculously fast as always.

But I will admit I was all geeked up for a new design.
Ryan even said the new buggy was better than the v3 and landed like a wet rag. But when you bend your chassis all you can do is make lemonaid and run the v3. Ryan is a great driver and I think it is just that much more awesome that they had both chassis in the A. All the AE buggies used the Durango drivetrain. Says a lot about the Durango quality and products.

Pic of Ryan's car attached. If they did not go with this chassis layout I will be bummed out. You can see the body is straight down the sides.

It's listed on Tower and it does look narrow in the back. Balls...

I get it but that body on Ryan's buggy you posted is not the one on Hupo's buggy above which happens to be the one Durango is calling the v4. I'm bummed also.

Still a narrow body and oh look the V4 sticker sheet, check the PN and check tower link. Doesn't look too promising for a wider chassis. The V3 is a great car and refinements are okay in my book.

The buggies you saw at worlds from neo would not be production ready by now. I bet after Ryan's performance at worlds and Jorns continued success at eos with narrow chassis is proof to not change so drastically.
