Good to know but after how my v3 ran yesterday I don't think I'm switching to another 4WD any time soon. It was that damn good. Once my driving improves to pull consistent laps every time out, I have no doubt I will once again start winning consistently.
The one bad on this v4 is that body. I was o hoping they'd keep the styling of the current body rather than go cab forward. Having said that, this Cab Forward design is the smoothest and sleekest looking Cab Forward design to date.
I hope a Kuhler body will be released for it if the current one doesn't fit, which I'm fairly certain is the case. Wish we had more to see on it though.

Even if it's a bit wider the Kuhler body might fit with a bit of flex without affecting anything. If it doesn't fit I hope Durango releases one.

Where are the pics or info showing/saying that it is wider? Actually, where is any information other than the one picture on TD's website and the fact that they said it has 15 improvements? Don't be greedy. Share.

I think most are assuming that what was seen at the worlds, is what we'll see in the v4.... (i.e. wide chassis)

I doesn't look to much wider to me.

ekt is just that good...

From looking at the parts listing on tower hobbies, I do not see a new chassis listed unless I am missing it. Appears to have changes to the diffs and the front and rear arms in addition to the universals.

I doubt you'll see a wide chassis.....

I was all amped up for the worlds type car, but it looks as if we will be seeing a revised v3 as opposed to a totally redesigned v4. I'm not complaining as at the very least we will be getting new arms, drive shafts etc. and Ryan Lutz ran the v3 and was ridiculously fast as always.
But I will admit I was all geeked up for a new design.

Here's Hupo's car with the v4 body, for better reference.
