it does barely, it takes removing the spacer between the center mount and modifying the spur gear cover.

I stuffed the 3400kv 3656 in my DEX. Once in it was very apparent the end bell would smack the servo with chassis flex. Also I could not fit the appropriate ESC in there with it. If you want a 4pole the Pro4 is the same length as a normal 540. But the appropriate ESC is still an issue.

I did see there was only about 1.5mm space between the endbell and servo but I didn't think about chassis flex. I'm guessing the hw 120a 3.1 will fit in the car.

So you never got to run it w/ either the 3656 or Pro4?

you probably have to shim the motor mount up so the motor clears without rubbing the chassis.

^ Absolutely, I forgot about that. I had to raise the motor and spur mount using 3mm spacers. In the end it was all unnecessary work.

As promised here are pics of my 410 showing the electronics and the newly installed fan:

Haven't run it on track yet so I haven't a clue as to how much of a difference it will make considering the placement. I'd I don't see much of one I will be buying the Spec-R mount and place it dead center. Still have to rewire anyway so it won't be a big deal.

I believe that is the full vehicle right? The "R" one is $150 right now.

There's a lot of chatter of new everything in Q1. Saw a few people posts a while back. Haven't seen anything official but I definitely believe it.
