Guys, whoever is on the east coast, and going to get hit by this storm, be safe. I live right on the water in CT. We are going to get pounded..

Ryan,

If you starting out from scratch, a new V3 is the only way to go. Absolutely no reason to go with the R version. You will spend way more in upgrades to the R then you would just gettin the V3. Now, if you looking at a 2010 spec with big bores and other upgrades, then go for it. But otherwise V3.

Has anyone found that their V3 front shock tower is about 1 layer of CF thicker than the rear? And quite difficult to fit in place on the front bulkhead?

the hex ends of outdrive were supposed to be filed a little so that the gear slips right on and off!
to get it off:
turn outdrive over and put it into a socket, hit outdrive with a punch, itll bend eclip put then youre golden! dont forget to file or dremel off the hex part of outdrive when you go back together!

so the b44.2 is coming the usual cf bling and its gonna be +8 longer 3mm narrower , whats gonna make the dex410v3 better than the b44.2 besides the adjustments capability i have a dex210 love it for the adjustments it kills my brothers b4.1 in every way without him throwing money into adjustment parts

Finally! I got to run my DEX-410 and I absolutely love it. I used Ryan Lutz's RRoC setup (minus pistons and the old rear block) and it was pretty much good to go. I think I could use a little more pack in the dampening, but overall it was awesome. Can't wait to get some more laps with it.

I think this is my new favorite...

You can use the same shock parts, wheels/tires, with your DEX210. You can also put rubber boots on shocks/outdrives. No ball diffs to rebuild. Probabaly the most important thing is you won't have the same buggy as everyone else has! Dare to be diff.

No ball diffs to rebuild or repair. Im seeing alot of diff work when I see someone with a b44.1 Only time will tell how good the new AE buggy is.

The dex410 is actually longer than the b44.2 by a little over 1in. The diff thing is a bit more of a pain -to a point- then the gear diff, but in the end they both require maintenance. As far as "better" well that as you know is more up to the driver/setup than it is the rc. Now as far as strength & tuning capabilities goes will be more of the question that needs to get answered. Though we have the b44.1 to kinda go off of the b44.2 is a bit different so only time will tell.

Hello guys.

If you find the right diff & shock oil for your lokal track, how often do you/i have to chance the oil?

Best Regards.
