I have the Tresrey hoops and some of the bearings from the 2010 car. Which of the rear hub carriers should I get, they have 1' and 0' ones.

Thanks..
Was it hit by a Short Bus or a real bus ?

Get an Alum Servo Arm. Hubs depend on what setup you want and your track. Run the plastic ones first (v3 comes with both). then get Alum Tresrey ones later.

It's a Tekin RS Pro. I run on a very small 75ft X 50ft indoor track and the 8.5 is plenty of power. I actually run faster lap times with a 10.5.

Hey guys. Just pulled the trigger on a Dex410 v3. Looking for a good motor/esc combo for it. I see a lot of guys running the rs pro 6.5t combo. I currently run at a small indoor track and was wondering what the best combo would be for it. Here is a link to some pictures of the track if that helps. http://www.carolinasrcracers.com/for...=pics-of-track

I run my wires short between the ESC and motor . They can't be much longer than an inch .

Hy,

I've got my dex410v3 on monday and started to build the Diffs.
How many shims did u use and on witch side?
When i put the shims like the manual says, i have quite a lot of gear mesh....
I know the diff cases can be different from molding, just to have a oriantation where i have to go!
I bought some extra shims, so it should be easy to get the right gear mesh.

thanks in advance

do yourself a favour and checkout the various electronics layouts below. it will save you many hours, sleepless nights and possibly your sanity too.

(been there, done that)

go to team Durangos website, and look at the tips on building the diffs, good info there.

Experiment by adding or subtracting shims on both sides until the output shaft spins butter smooth.

Default Quick question

Hi guys I am new to the Durango dex 410 platform as I just picked up a used one in the classifieds. My question is can you upgrade a older spec car to the v3 spec or did they change to a completely new layout. I can't seem to find the info anywhere. Thanks for your time.

The Original 410 is still a great car and very similar - and has all the upgrades. The v3 (not v3R) comes with Big Bores. The small bores on your 410 are still good - the Big Bores are more of a tuning option, better on rough tracks.

I'd update the Wheel hexes on all 4 wheels to the v3 14mm hexes are old wheels are near impossible to find. Grab a PDF of the v3 manual from the TD website and get part numbers. You just need the hexes/pins, Rear Hubs/Bearings. Then get some of the new wheels (DE-Racing also make Good rims for the v3).

If the diffs are leaking (from the original x-ring seals, get some DNX408 shock O rings and replacement. Or Kyosho P5 orings).

Thats all the springs to mind. The old body was very tight fitting. PL & JC make nice Cab forward bodies that give you more room under the hood. They look fancy too
