You can get nanotech shorties. I think you have to search under hardcase lipo rather than nanotech on the hobby king website.

Edit: Here's the link

I run the Venom shorties. Great power and price. I think I paid $66 shipped on eBay NIP.

Venom 3800 60C "Shorty" is all youll ever need. I dont understand why the end user buys a lipo from another third world company, just to have it be low on power, be dead in a year from now, and offer no warranty. Venom offers lifetime warranty, and run rock solid every time. Buy Venom, and dont pay for a lipo again..

yes mate a lot of guys over hear are using the Venom shorty as well 3800mah 60C , saves weight over the saddle packs etc

and with 5 minute races for electric there would be heaps of run time left in the tank

agreed why people dont buy good lipo's from the start is something i will never understand

A good lipo is like going up 1-2 teeth on your pinion. I had some older tired out Orions. Switched to Venom shorty and had a bunch more power and top speed. I couldn't believe it.

+1 on this comment. They all come from the same place now. I had a Venom gone bad after a few runs.

Ok I got the video up (you have to turn the sound up a bit to hear the odd sounds)

Yep just checked the hex's and wheels and they all look fine. also sprayed some WD40 on the CVD's before running, but still made the sound.

That sounds like dry cv shaft joints in the center of the car then. It could be out at the wheels but turning the wheels on the front for example would at least change the noise.
