Default STD Shocks

Neuman probably runs standard shocks, quite frankly because he is skilled enough to control a twitchy car. Hupo was landing back-flips with his DEX210 as an example of the skill set we are talking about. Try all three possible shock options and see which you are faster with, sell what you can't use. (Standard, Fat & MOS)

I have also noticed a lot of the tracks the bigger races are run out west seem to be very smooth and the jumps are the only things rough about the track. The surfaces do not appear to be rough and are super clean and accommodate the bar style tires. I could see why the standards work fine in conditions like this.

We have two tracks that I run at in which one is nice and smooth and the other is just straight out bumpy and I can't keep the same setup between the two tracks for the shocks because the latter one just needs more pack to get the right feel.

I agree, the MOS shocks are sweet. Im just waiting on my set for my 410. I have them on my 210, and couldnt believe the difference.

Smaller shocks will give more pack, and a "harder" pack (less volume to squeeze the fluid into). The AE Team has been working on this for 2 years, at EVERY track they go to, not just OCRC or WCH. They find the best big-bore setup, throw on the V2 shocks with their previous setups on them, and they find the big bores didn't improve on time and the cars are harder to drive.

Of course that is based all on what they are doing with their car, but it is a 7 year old car that they know very well.

1/8th scale went thru this 2-3 years ago, with the shocks got bigger, and bigger, and bigger, and then they realized they had gone past a point where they were making any ground in stability and were loosing grip. To the point where several of the car builders were using sleeves inside a 17mm diam shock to go down to 15mm pistons.

+1 does anyone know when we will start seeing parts? Uk has had parts for a week or so. If I don't see parts by the end of the week, does somebody want to split the shipping from Durango? Lmk.......we can start getting a list together.

The cheapest shipping from Durango is $50. So splitting it wouldn't be so bad. I was thinking by say Sunday night, if we don't see anything stateside? It will be here in two days usually. Plus next Sat. 14th, RCHR is having a trophy race and I can give it to one of your boys to bring back. Check out their website, see what is in stock and we can go from there. LMK, thanks.......

Was thinking the same thing. Actually, I'm from blooming England and my parents live there (was thinking of getting stuff shipped to them, then to here - but would take a couple of weeks...) . I was getting desperate for a v3 but did the currency conversion and its like $450 just to buy the car over there with the exchange rate.
Anyways, I'm thinking about ordering some parts, specifically TD330004 and some DEX210 Diff gear parts.

Ya, no problem. Get some numbers together, and we will go from there. Probably Sunday I will place the order.
