I already have the 210 which is "da bom" and a converted 408 so TD it is and for $157 less I could go the R now. The idea was to get the R now and look at the shocks at first on the list but not for a little while. And then some aftermarket towers next. Maybe there are some parts that don't NEED upgrading for a long time.. I dunno.
Thanks for your reply BTW.
In your case the R is good. Just replace a couple of the must have items. Search this thread for "Must have items" and you should see the prior posts.

That's for sure! I found on ebay a hobbywing copy esc (yes a copy of hobby wing..those chinese) However, it has a opaque yellow case, which would match my motor...ha! However it's a big esc and may have to stand my rx on it's side

enjoy mate

start around the 20 in pinon and tune by temps might need to go up to say a 22 or 23 depending on temps

apart from that did you get the R version or the big bores V3 version ? either will be fine you might just want to look at some upgrades if you got the R version

are the aluminum front and rear hubs needed on this car or are they just bling? i have yet to break something after 4 races and 3 practice days, but i have stocked up on all the parts i think could break. i got the front and rear aluminum diff hoops, rear aluminum gear box inserts, titanium hinge pins, titanium shock mounts, and the lunsford turnbuckel kit, aluminum wheel hexes and shock collars. what else should be beefed up on this car? should i get the aluminum center diff holder or the front humbs or rear hubs? im not looking to bling the car out im just looking to make it durable.
