put the esc towards the outer right side not worrying about being on the removable plate and mount the reciever in the middle of the car.

That stinks bud and do not want to be "That Guy" and state that you should have read through the thread a bit. You almost need the smallest electronics money can buy for this car. If the $$ is an issue you will not enjoy this car as it is more expensive to race than my 8th scale.

I had to turn my Rx on its side--can you do the same with the speedo?

Will it fit if you put the ESC up next to the motor and as far left next to the spur gear as you can, then flip the reciever on it side between the ESC and servo, or ESC and the side rail? This thing is tight and as was stated before this is not a budget buggy. I know it's real tight with my RSpro and Futaba receiver.

i think thats the best way but I need a low profile servo with my normal servo still not enough space....with my fs2 this things doesn't happen...

low profile servo really will not make much of a difference. i know theres a pic or two from early in this thread with mamba max pros installed its just a super tight fitting car. my rs/futaba combo was tight but found more room with my speed passion/futaba combo which is bigger which i dont understand. the rooms there just need to play with it some.

If any of you guys need small cheap electronics dualsky makes some great sensored ESC's and motors that even some professional racers are using. Plus the ESC's are very small.

Here is a link to the ESC's: http://www.ckhobby.com/shop/?control...ory&path=17_84

Thanks for the help.. I called them today but no dice. They haven't had any for a while and can't see themselves having any for a while either.. Bit shit really. Why design and build something that can't be made for what the intention was and was for the public to buy and race them?

It's sounds more like to me that it's an incorrectly made car..

Now I started with the DNX and that was a bit of a pain in the ass to get up and going too. With spare parts being nowhere I ended up just buying another used roller to rape for spares.. But the car was so good I thought I'd give TD another go.. To me it looks like they dropped the ball #(and have been bought out by another company)# cough!!! They haven't fixed any of their marketing strategy or their production line and it's now proof to me that they can't do the business.. And you have a V3 but you can't race that either cuz you broke something that out of stock all over the world.. Blahhh I had a rant about this on the 210 thread too. Same sh8t with TD, different day.

they make a great car but if they dont do some thing very soon the only people running them will be sponsored drivers.
there support/backup is nonexistent, you have to rely on retail shops for support
what has pissed me is they put out the 210 and they didnt have parts for the 410. there is also talk of a 2wd short course coming out in a few months. if they cant supply enough parts for existing models why did they release the 210 and now looking at 2wd sc

You can get most parts but you may have to shop around and pay extra for shipping. Would be nice if they updated themselves so we could have a little better insight into whats happening.

Its a shame as there isn't any other brand that has the 2wd and 4wd that I would want to race, maybe maybe losi but thats at a stretch and they won't have a 4wd till late next year a the earliest.

I just don't see the point in releasing yet another car SC ( silly class anyway) when they have a little too much going on already that they can't keep on top of.

Not long ago they released the 408 in both forms.. Do a JQ and be honest, might not be liked by share holders or others but the respect you would get from the buyers would help out a LOT in the long term
