So i ve running my new dex410 about a month now with the novak 10.5 taken out of my B4. Seems like I could use some more speed. The 10.5 ran fine in the B4, 2 wheel drive, but is laking abit turning 4 wheels now. So question is, go 8.5 or 7.5? Suppose the arguement could be, hey get the 7.5, if its to fast, it can be dialed down via the MMP esc. Would the 7.5 really be too fast? Thoughts?

Well it is generally easier to turn down than turn up, right? Some of the newer ESC's have boost, timing and/or turbo that you can mess with to get a little more out of a motor. My guess is you would be fine with either an 8.5 or a 7.5t. I use an 8.5t but our track is also kinda small.

I am running a 7.5 and it's fine. In fact, I am about to start adding some boost to it now that I am getting used to the speed.

Hey guys,

So today before racing I finally was able to start getting through the shocks/diffs and getting a setup in there. I have the DEX410R with the non-big bores. I was looking for opinions on the diffs.

I'm currently running 7k/3k. I get confused because one most of the pro sheets, they are running 30k/20k, yet on the sheet posted by Cush, was running 3k/1k. That's a pretty big difference. A guy at our track has the V3 and he's running 10k/5k and his car looks great.

Any advice?

Anyone got a setup for an outdoor, bumpy, blown out track. Dirt Medium grip.

Thanks

I think the setup you are looking for, for this track, is called DEX408

as soon as i saw this i thought, its gotta be sold already.

i know the kits are in high demand.. however, drop the price $15 and make the buyer pay for shipping.. make them feel like they're getting a deal..

I see it the other way around. It's up to the buyer to put an offer in. I'm not going to budge much since these are very scarce right now. Some see the glass half-full and some half-empty. I'm in no rush, just want to get it sold before the DESC210R is released.

BTW, does anyone have the parts numbers to convert a 2010 SPEC to a v3?
