And how can I be certain if the hubs need to be opposte from convention? I will look again on the TD website and see if they make any mention of the error. Cheers!
I believe you put the mark letters L,R towards the front of the car....

Now compress the shock all the way and you sill see that the shaft will not go all the way in. .It will hydro-lock near the top. This is what I've seen cause a lot of rear bulkhead issues in regard to breaking them. This also leads to premature leakage and a bouncy car.

If you put a hinge pint into the hub and set the face of the hub onto a flat surface like a setup board you can see which side of the hinge pin is lower. This "lower" side should face to the rear looking at the hubs from the top. Kinda confusing but give it a go.
I am pretty sure I get it. The hinge pin will slope downward once installed in the hub and placed on a flat surface. The lower side should point to the rear of the car. Effectively this reclines the hub back 1 degree, correct? They should call the reclined hubs instead?

I do not see the hubs reclining at all. They either add or subtract toe in. If they were reclining, then it would be like caster in the rear though.

If you do this with the V3 1 degree hubs, you only end up with 2 degrees of rear toe-in total. I tried running this way and it was way too loose. Of course the manual only shows the 0 degree hubs which they do not supply in the kit either to fit the new larger bearings..

The V3 kit came with 0 and 1 degree hubs .

Take another look . the only way it could be like caster if the reclining was in vertical motion , which is not .

That is what I was trying to tell him. My V3 also came with 0 degree hubs, but they are the older style that they did not provide the older bearings to go with them. I have from the first batch, maybe they fixed it since then.

Unlike the desc, the v3 1 degree hubs included with my kit are not +1 degree in their normal left and right hand positions. They are -1 really when you check the overall measurement since the rear is using negative toe.

Hey guys,

I'm having problems with my slipper/ spur assembly binding. It's chunky and especially when coming off of the throttle. All of the noise is coming from the spur slipper area.

The diffs are smooth when I roll it with now motor installed? So idk what's going on.

I just finished building it so everything is fresh... I've tried rebuilding it and shimming the bearing differently like 3 times.

Please help so I can drive this thing!

It is clay, bur the "problem" is that i has some sort of "glass" surface on top.. It was suppose to be just blue clay but thay have mixed something in it. They did to get better grip, but it was not extreamly sucsessfull..

JConsepts barcodes in blue compound is ok, but not alot of grip. This is our handout tire, so this is what we use.
