Any setups for hardpacked clay tracks? I've found a few in the Aussie thread that look like good starting points, but I'm just looking for a little confirmation.

I need recommendations for:

1. The best saddle packs to run
2. Pinions to run with a 6.5T on indoor hard clay and outdoor hard pack, med grip.

I don't have my Durango yet, but I've seen 6.5 setups running 20-22/84.

There are a ton of lipos that fit. You can get a 5000+ mah IP pack (~$70) off eBay or check out the Pro-Teks ($100) on Amain.

I run Pro-tek 40C stick packs and love them in the stock class.

Thanks - I wasn't sure about ProTeks. I've only run Thunder Power so far. I think I'll give ProTek a try. I do love A Main Hobbies and buy all my stuff there.

I just wish they would release a coupon code for $500 and up.

(I hope my wife doesn't read that...)

I was using a 19t pinion with my 6.5 speed passion. It wasn't coming off extremely hot, just warm. I could of probably went to a 20t but than i think it it would of gotten fairly hot.

These lipos are insane! It's like going up one or maybe two teeth on your pinion!
