Basicly the car was really loose in the rear. Does anyone have a good setup for an indoor high bite track?
How do you achieve more tow in the rear wheels? It came with a 2 and 4 rear hinge pin holder but I think they are for roll center? What Rear and front rear hinge pin configuration could I use to hook the rear up.
I've been racing for years and have a B44 that is dialed. I bought the 410 because of the gear diffs. I can't beleive how bad this car is out of the box.
sounds like you put a B44 set up on it and with a completely new car and drivetrain and expected it to feel the same..

you cannot drive this car the same way, you really have to own the track and keep the on it.

i've also noticed ride height is critical with this car. i had a similar issue with the rear stepping out. dropped the rear down and cured the problem

this car is uber receptive to tuning changes, keep working at it. you also shouldn't expect the first night to be gold if your making changes.

also what diff oils are you running

I bought the rears for my 210 Wed night . They have the fronts for the V3 as well ?

Did you run the older 410 ? If so did you make any setup changes with the V3 ?

I have used the AE spurs without any issues. you may have to bore out the hole a little

+1. I read this several times last year in the thread. They say to CAREFULLY use a good body reamer. Not sure what would happen if you make the hole too big--so maybe the CAREFUL part is about not injuring yourself?

thanks guys!!
I will be careful- i prefer drill bit to body reamer as body reamer leaves tapered hole

LHS has lots of AE spurs as I have some also

The only problem with this is that cats and dogs do not get along. If you put a Schumacher part on a Durango you will certainly lose.

Thanks for the input guys. I sat down and looked it over closely and did find some things that were really off. I had the -1 hubs on it and they took 1 degree out , I thought they put 1 degree in it(oops). It had a couple degrees of tow out in the front witch would make it wondery and have a lot of steering in turn adding to the loose feeling in the rear. Shock oils were way off in the rear also contributing to the loose rear.
I really like the car and I know it will take a little time to get it setup.

BTW I received the parts and body I ordered from Tresery today. Seems to be a good company to deal with, fast shipping for sure.

When are they going to get a head shaking emoticon for this site? Geez.

Can you get a hall pass on Saturday? Tell your wife you are already off pace and do not want to fall 2 laps behind.

Whoa! Be careful with that off pace son

No Hall pass tomorrow, I will be there on Wednesday and next Saturday since the wife is in Columbia for a month!

Do you prefer off color remarks over off pace? Well, you will have time to catch up as I am off to Maui next week. This Saturday is my last race until the New Year's. Cheers!
