Whats up with the V3 I want one but no one has it in stock and they can't tell me how long it will take to get it If I preorder.

Scroll back a few pages. First or second week of December appears to be the word on the street. In time for Santa at least

LOL, I have a xxx4 g+ right now that I can race to get my fix, but the car is out dated and parts are hard to come by. I really like the engineering on this car and I feel is way better thought out than any car out there currently. the other cars are sedan cars fluffed up for off road, however the 410 R, V3 etc are a purpose built 4x4 buggy and I want one Now!

Questions??

Most set up sheets are geared towards the 410 and only display a shock mounting position with a three hole tower. I have the 410R with 4 holes in the front and 5 holes in the rear.

It would appear the 410 tower would match up to the three bottom holes of the 410R tower?

For example, some set up sheets show a mounting position in a middle hole of the front shock tower. I assume this would be the next to the bottom hole of the 410R front tower?

You are correct. when you have time trim off 1 hole in the front and 2 in the rear. cleans it up nice.

Just got the big bores in the mail. Stoked! I am building them with the black nitride shafts and also a set of springs one step lighter than stock. I plan to run Losi 40W in front and 30W in rear. Hope they handle . . .

You think? I am not sure if I am going to race them until I have them figured out. I bet Justin would like springs softer than stock.

I will give them a shot tomorrow night . . .

Big bores are so smooth! I have not ran them yet but believe the PTFE (?) coating on the shock bodies are a bonus. Also the shock pistons appear to be better quality and perhaps a bit softer plastic. Add in the Nitride shock shafts and there is a marked improvement over the standards. I will see how they work on the buggy tonight . . .

Why not start with 2 or 3mm first? Mine is moved to the rear 1mm so would probably shift that to start!
