Will a Mamba Max Pro (with it's fan removed) fit in the 410r?

The 410 has been out for how long? I would no longer considered this a new car, so why is everything on back order? Just took this car out of my shopping cart. No thanks.

Sorry to hear that man.... I love my car!!! Parts are hard to find at times, but the drive is well worth it. I will say that this buggy has its teething problems, but as soon as you get these ironed out. Its like butter.

So I am just about to pull on a Durango, and have really only one concern...

What wheels (from other companies) fit the Durango. Front and rear. I am getting a 410r, so I guess it has no hex in the rear, just Associated style pins?

If the AE rims fit, is the width of the car changed at all? How much?

Just wondering what wheels to get for it (if the Durangos arn't available). Thanks!!!!!
You can find durango wheels... All in stock.

Since 2009. The car has just had subtle revisions since its release, hence the parts fit not only the 410 Spec, but the 410R and the V3. Also many parts service all ((3) of the 1/10 scale platforms (410's, DESC, and 210).

That is the reason you cant find parts such as aluminum shock post and red aluminum shock bottoms, they work on all the cars that are out. Also, as you can imagine, Durango is probably going through some growing pains in this economy. You have a hugely successful product but for how long? Do you hire more people and ramp up production? There's a lot more to it than just producing parts, they have grown substantially in a short time.

It could be worse. I own a motorcycle shop as well and there was a company producing high end carbon cased lithium race batteries. They could barely fill orders...what did they do? They shut down for 6 months to invest in 1 million dollars worth of tooling equipment, production, etc. to meet demand. Luckily the demand was still there when they came back.

Think Durango could shut down for 6 months? My guess is they are trying to cope and make changes to meet demand on the fly. Personally I can wait as I like having a "F1" level type car and not NASCAR crap

Yup. Agreed! I personally do not mind all these peeps getting impatient and buying a B44 or whatever. I think the only other car I have seen that can compete is the Schumacher and even that car is a little dated and a pain to find parts. Have not seen the Kyosho but there probably is a reason for that . . .

I have said this before and will say it again, just watch a B44 on the track--it looks like some kinda land crab scurrying around the track. Prehistoric technology is the reason. Any version of the Rango--even Reaper's with peanut butter in the diffs--is better than no Rango.

Didn't mean to start anything, and I agree with all your rebutals (if they were even that), but what should I do? Have sympathy for the company and still buy their car, and when I break one frigging arm be sidelined?

Trust me....I want this car!! It was already in my shopping cart, paypal cocked and loaded!!!! It just freaked me out when I saw that you couldn't buy anything for it, and like a post said above, it's been out since 2009?? Holy crap people. And the fact that it DOES SHARE parts should make it easier to get crap out, not slow production down!! But yeh, I do sympathize with the company. They are growing fast. They have a great product. But how long can you appease a finicky RC crowd sidelined with thier scrap metal "F1" car while their friends are out running thiers? Not very long. . It aint "F1" if you have a broken A arm and there isn't one to be had. Again, at this point....scrap metal.

Well...in it's defense (not trying to bash) I really want to own this car.

Out of the 221 parts listed at Amain, 172 were in stock. That's actually not a bad percentage as I first may have thought. It was just those first few pages that were nothing but "back order". So not too bad, BUT the important parts that we all need and use were for sure on back order.

If you've had the car in one form or another, you may have had time to hoard along the way. I'm trying to get into a Durango and have NOTHING so it's intimidating.

Losi parts house also has a lot of stock. If it helps the car is built like a tank and rarely breaks.

Understood and you have a great point. I personally have parts and so does our LHS. I do not think it will be long before TD starts to ship and think it is worth the risk. A-main has stuff but there are others as well. Arms are certainly readily available--it is just all the hop-up parts that are hard to find (mostly).

Really? Where? I should have made it clear, I have only peep'd Amain. So if someone has a source for general crap, please fill me in. Again, I really want this car. Chompping at the bit, but scared as hell.
