25mm is what you are shooting for . . .

Racer's Edge and Team Orion 4500 LiPos I know to fit. I am sure there are others but will let others chime in or you can always search the thread (sorry but I had to be "that guy").

25mm with the strap at the highest position. however if you make your own battery strap you could go bit taller.

Marginally taller- maybe a millimeter, unless you raise the center driveshaft. The rear center outdrive is the limiting factor here. I made a cf battery strap for the desc hoping it would allow some larger saddles and ran into this issue. Shims under the center mount and under the diff hoop will provide more room without too much extra stress on the driveshaft from the extra angle. I have done up to 1.5mm successfully.

Thinking about picking up the 410r off a guy. Will the GENS ACE 6000 packs fit? or do I need to do the 4800's to fit. I've owned Gens Ace and totally cool with them. It will be mod so not too stressed about C rating. Just curious if the bigger 6000 will fit. Thanks!!!

Also, is Durango completley ditching the small bore parts availability if I buy this car? Seems Fat Shocks are where they're moving to, just don't want to be stuck. Thanks if anyone has some insight on this .

need to run the 4800's they fit fine. I still run regular shocks. Dont see any issues at all by keep running them.

V3 has all of this over the spec:
plastic side pods, big bores, new rear hangers, hexes, new shock towers, Kuhler body, new drive shaft and outdrive..

i would just wait.. trust me, i hate waiting, im way more of an impulse buyer. but waiting it out will save you at least $150-300. $400-600 if you buy the spec.

why not just wait and buy once. and i'm sure your wallet will appreciate it as well
I just spoke to my LHS and was told the release of the V3 was pushed back to the first week of December. I think i may go crazy waiting..... How to pass the time????

Keep up the great info on here as this car is a joy to drive and once I fixed the 3-4 known issues I have not broken a thing and every race a b44 breaks something(not bashing assoc- I race several just not b44 as I am sure with proper setup they are durable as well)

Racing 5 classes per day means 15 races with very little breaks so i need durability or maybe race fewer classes nah
Your too kind. I just bought a b44.1 and have club raced it a total of two nights, 3 heats each night. So far I have broke 3 front arms and two front shock shafts. I am no hack and have some years of racing under my belt.

Same parts always break. I used to have the b44. I thought the .1 would be better.... wrong. That is why I bought a 410.

Will the b44 wheels fit the 410R?

Yes. but you'll have to trim the silly long roll pins on the rear so they fit in the Assoc wheels.

Don't listen to Zipperfoot he's a hack!! Ha ha...I keeed I keeed.

So I am just about to pull on a Durango, and have really only one concern...

What wheels (from other companies) fit the Durango. Front and rear. I am getting a 410r, so I guess it has no hex in the rear, just Associated style pins?

If the AE rims fit, is the width of the car changed at all? How much?

Just wondering what wheels to get for it (if the Durangos arn't available). Thanks!!!!!
