My question is will this motor work or will I just be wheeling or even flipping down the straight? I would like to save some dollars but am willing to purchase a better motor. let me know.
Boost the hell out of that 13.5 you could probably get it to run like a 9/8.5 if you max it out, just watch temps

Thanks... hadn't even thought of that but I have a couple of sets of IP I'll be using.
Or I can always route them the othe side of the spur gear.
Something to look out for if I buy more cells though.

Up until 2 weeks ago I had two Venom Saddle packs with reverse polarity on the bullets, which meant I had to have equal length wires. I fried a Tekin RS last spring so have been VERY careful when I plug stuff in to make sure I got them the right way around.
However I did accidentally attempt to plug them in back-to-front 2 weeks ago - I don't have a switch on my RSPro and as soon as I attempted to plug them in, the wires & bullet got super hot (I actually burnt myself) and I pulled them out. I was amazed I didn't fry my RSPro - Anyways, Lesson learned, I sold one of the packs the very next day and brought another one with the same polarity and cut the wires so I can't physically plug them in wrong.
It just ain't worth the risk of making that human failure, and destroying the electronics and your evening of racing etc.

it was a wiring nightmare.
i cannot shorten any servo wires as sometimes I need the electronics in other cars.

need bit smaller pinion so the ESC will move a bit.

why pink? it is probably the most easily recognizable color on the track

first race on saturday. will see how it handles.

Yes. This is a well known issue with many. Supposedly the new HD ball cups help with this but many have been using RPMs.

Get the TC5 ball studs for use with RPM Long shank cups. Mine barely ever come off.

Hi.... Just a quick question. I've been waiting for the V3 to come off back-order, but I got an offer to buy the original kit for not much more in price. Think I should grab it while I can, or wait it out for the V3?

I would get it if I were you. I think the V3 option parts are between the DEX410R and the 2010 Spec kit--minus the BB shocks of course. And the BB shocks are not that much bigger bit have been told they are super smooth. Cheers!

Default V3 14mm wheel hex

Guys,

Anyone know where I can get the 14mm wheel hexes--either aluminum or plastic? I sheared 2 of those roll pins last night causing me a qualifier and the main . Thanks!

Otherwise, does anyone have the P/N for the plastic?
